I think the biggest trend here is that I started watching a lot of anime starting sometime in 2020, so my drama numbers here have fallen off sharply. Hope I can talk about that some time because I have a lot of thoughts. There was a tweet somewhere that said when you’re in your 30s you develop a caffeine addiction and get back into things you loved when you were 13 and I think that about sums up my love of anime again. How else can I explain rewatching the likes of Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha, while somehow putting up with Attack on Titan?? lol
I haven’t had a real computer to use for the past few months, so I’ve been relying on Netflix for my drama fix. And their offerings for j-dramas have been decent! Everything but Elpis was on Netflix US. And because Netflix has the goods, I decided to rewatch SKY Castle which was just as good as I remember it being.
Standouts: Cold Case 3* (duh), Ore no Ie no Hanashi (Nagayan… please come back), D.P., Zenkamono, The Glory.
